In this workshop with CIID, an international hub of creatives minds, you will learn to think critically about technology and the impact it may have on the future of your business. Through a mixture of tools and techniques you will learn to scan the market environment for disruptive trends and technologies. You will learn to think critically about innovation and learn to better discern between what is signal and what is noise.
You will consider broad implications of various technologies through the 360 degree lens of the STEEEP framework (Social, Technological, Economic, Environmental, Ethical and Political) in order to holistically identify opportunities and challenges for your business. You will use Backcasting techniques to forecast pathways to a preferred future, techniques for brainstorming future-facing products and services and learn to judge implications and outcomes of ideas and innovations through tools such as the Future Wheel and the Impact Matrix.
Finally you will learn to story-tell engaging narratives of how your business will help shape the future.
